The member representing okehi state constituency at the kogi state house of assembly, Murktar Bajeh says it is imperative for the state government to check the abusive activities of private medical facilities.
He stated this in an interview with assembly press core shortly after moving a motion calling on the state government to regulate the activities of private hospitals in the state at plenary.
He said the activities of such private hospitals ranges from quackery, extortion and diversion of medical consumables. The lawmaker said the Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello is one who loves his citizens and does not want anyone or group to inflict suffering on the people.
Bajeh maintained that he would continue to move motions that were relevant to addressing the plight of the masse as that is the key principle of the present administration.
