For his excellent performance and exhibition of unblemished track records, a group urder the aaegis of Kogi Local Government Youth Progressive Association (KGYPA) Monday Commended comrade Usman A Salihu,Kogi Local Government Education Secretary .
Spokesman of the group Comrade Ali Isah Ibrahim said comrade Salihu is commended for his outstanding performance since he assumed office , adding that Usman has been in the forefront in lifting the standard of education in the area since its creation in 1991.
According to him:” We noted with keen interest since you assumed office as E.S KGL of your untiring efforts and unblemished record of achievements,we want to urge you to maintained the tempo,and appealed to others to emulate you”
We are not unawere that some education secretaries in the state have not been receiving their salaries since they assumed office,as concerned youths whose aims and objectives is to promote education,we want to use this medium to appeal to the appropriate authority on the need to look into the plights of of our Education Secretaries in the State,especially as regards the payment of their salaries and other benefits” Ibrahim said.
The group commended Governor Yahaya Bello for appointing Comrade Usman. A. Salihu as the education Secretary in charge of Kogi Local Government,described it as an added advantage.
“We want to use this medium to expressed our profound gratitute to Gov Yahaya Bello for the opportunity given to our worthy ambassador,comrade Usman A.Salihu to serve as Education Secretary,our condolences to our Governor over the death of his mother Hajiya Hauwau Oziohu Bello, may almighty God comfort her family and loved ones” he prayed
