Hon. Olusola Kilani Olumo visits Ayere Community

Member representing Ijumu in the Kogi State House of Assembly has visited Ayere Community to condone with the people of the community over the unfortunate murder of the wife of the chief Imam of Ayere.
The first point of call is the residence of the chief imam where the incidence occurred. He condone with the chief imam Mallam Badrudeen Ajiboye who happens to be the cousin of the honourable member. In his word Hon Kilani said the perpetrator of the dastardly act will never go unpunished that,he can assured the chief imam and the whole community.
Hon. Kilani Olumo been a son of the soil,moved straight to the palace of the Alayere of Ayere. At the palace Hon. Kilani told the Alayere and the council of Chiefs that he is in Ayere first as the son of Ayere and secondly as the House of Assembly member representing Ijumu State constituency. Shortly after that Hon Kilani went into a closed door meeting with the Alayere and his council of chiefs.
Immediately after the closed door meeting which lasted for over 2hours the whole community members where outside to meet with there son on the issue of the strange happening in the community.
Many members of the community thanked Hon. Kilani for always responding to their call whenever he is been called upon. Notably among the speakers are women leaders,religious leaders,political leaders,youths and elders. Every of the speakers gave suggestions on the way forward to curb the insecurity happenings in the community.
Responding, Hon. Olusola Kilani Olumo thanked everyone for not putting the law into their hands and promised that all suggestions has been noted. The Hon. Member immediately promised that a security committee will be set and all support needed by the committee will be provided by him.
The joy and relieve in the face of all members of the community was glaring as the meeting came to a close.
