

As Kogi State celebrates the 31st anniversary of its creation, the State Executive Chairman Local Government Service Commission , Hon Adams Adabenege has commended Governor Yahaya Bello on his efforts at securing the state, providing world class health care infrastructural fecilities and uniting ethnic nationalities that constitute the state.
Hon Adams Adabenege gave the commendation in a statement on Sunday.
The Chairman of the local government service commission said all the policies introduced by Governor Bello-led administration has been the best which demonstrate that Kogi State belongs to all irrespective of tribe, political affiliation and religion.
He Commended the Governor for the dogged commitments to security of lives and properties been enjoyed in the state, stressing that, since the State was created in 1991, Kogi State has not witnessed massive infrastructural development compared to what is available now.
While admonishing the People of Kogi State to always key into Governor Bello policies and programmes, Adams Adabenege said Kogi State has continued to wax stronger and united under the present administration.
It could be recalled that Kogi State was created on 27th August 1991, by the then military government led by General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
Other States created in 1991 are Edo, Kebbi, Anambra,Enugu,Taraba, Kogi,Osun, Jigawa and Delta state
