Hon. Maikudi Empowers Women in Robomi, Gbogboro Ahead of New Year

The Member representing Kogi Koton-Karfe State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Idrees Aliyu Maikudi, has distributed wrappers to women in Robomi and Gbogboro communities of Kogi Local Government Area as part of activities to usher in the New Year.
The distribution exercise was carried out on his behalf by his wife, Mrs. Fatima Idrees Maikudi Aliyu, who presented the items to women in the two communities.
The gesture was aimed at enabling them to celebrate the New Year in joy and dignity.
Speaking during the exercise, Mrs. Maikudi explained that the initiative was part of her husband’s continuous efforts to support women and improve their welfare at the grassroots level.
She noted that the lawmaker remains committed to uplifting his constituents, especially women, through people-oriented interventions.
She recalled that earlier in the month, Hon. Maikudi had distributed wrappers worth millions of naira to Christian women across the constituency as part of activities marking the Christmas celebration, stressing that the New Year distribution was a continuation of his commitment to inclusiveness and community support.
Beneficiaries from Robomi and Gbogboro communities expressed appreciation to the lawmaker for the kind gesture, describing it as timely and thoughtful.
They prayed for continued strength and success for Hon. Maikudi in his service to the people.
