Kogi state house of assembly has passed into law over one hundred and seventy six point one billion naira as twenty twenty appropriation bill.
At the committee of supply,the house considered the bill clause by clause.
The appropriation bill has the sum of over ninety seven billion naira for capital expenditure and over seventy eight billion naira for recurrent expenditure.
Giving the sectoral breakdown of the bill the speaker prince mathew kolawole said the administrative sector, has over fifty seven billion naira, the economic sector has over sixty one billion naira and the law and justice sector would gulp over seven billion naira.
He said the budget was a balanced one.
Earlier in a lead debate, the the acting Chairman house committee on appropriation, economic planning and budget monitoring, Ranyi Daniya, said the that during the budget defence some ministries departments and agencies had their budget estimates adjusted within the budgetary provision presented to the house.
