Kogi State House of Assembly has confirmed the reappointment of Abdullahi Ndalayi Suleiman as Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board.
The State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello had forwarded the names of Suleiman and Usman Umoru as Permanent Member two for reappointment for another tenure.
The SUBEB Chairman promised to consolidate on his achievements by sustaining discipline, accountability and transparency.
He urged Primary School Teachers to be patient, saying better days are ahead in the area of their welfare.
The House also confirmed the nomination of Matthew Abuka as Director General, Kogi State Debt Management Office (DMO).
In a similar vein, a bill for a law to Establish Kogi Signage and Advertisement Agency has passed through first reading.
The bill when passed into law will provide a legislative framework for regulation of outdoor advertisement in the State.
