Kogi NUT Commiserates with Gov. Bello over mother’s demise

The Kogi State Wing of Nigeria Union of Teachers, has described the death of Hajiya Hawawu Bello as a rude shock, painful and a big loss to her immediate family and the entire state.

In a statement made available to pressmen, Comr. Ayodele Thomas, State Chairman of the Union, said the entire Teachers in the State mourn the passing away of late Hajia Hauwau Bello, said the death is sudden and regrettable coming at this time.

Late Hajia Hauwau Bello passed away on Sunday evening in Abuja after a brief illness. She was aged 101 according to family sources.

Comr. Ayodele said that although Hajiya Hawawu died at a remarkable old age, she would be remembered for her remarkable legacies. He described her death at this time as one that would be greatly missed.

According to the statement, “Mama lived to old age and has lived a good life said the entire Teachers under the Kogi State Wing of NUT are consoled with the knowledge that no one can question God, the owner of life. He therefore on behalf of the State NUT, wish Hajia Hauwau a peaceful repose of her soul and the family she left behind the needed fortitude to bear the great loss.”

Comr. Ayodele particularly condoled with Gov. Yahaya Bello, urged him to be strengthened by the positive testimonies of of his late mother, commended his Purposeful leadership that is no doubt helping to reposition Kogi state and particularly the Teachers in the State.
