Mallam Mudasiru emerges President KGHA Okun Forum

The Director of Administration and Finance,Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission,Mallam Oseni Mudasiru has emerged as the new President of Kogi State House of Assembly Okun forum.

Mallam Mudarisu was unanimously elected as the president at a meeting of the Forum held at the Kogi State House of Assembly Complex, Lokoja.
In his acceptance speech, the new president thanked the Forum for the confidence reposed in him to pilot the affairs of the Forum and paid tribute to the immediate past president for his contributions to the growth, development and unity of KGHA Okun Forum and promised not let the Forum down.

Mallam Mudasiru commended the State Governor,Alhaji Yahaya Bello appointing sons and daughters of the area to key and sensitive positions in his administration.

He described the state governor as a very detribalised leader pointing out under his administration,the state is more united than ever because the groups that make up the state are more accommodating of one another.

Mallam Mudasiru enjoined Okun staff of the State House of Assembly and Assemby Commission to be more dedicated to their duties and shun any activities that can tarnish the good name and image of Okun land.

The President commended the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon.Mathew Kolawole for his good leadership skills he has demonstrated in handling the affairs of the Assembly and his fatherly role to the Forum.

Mallam Mudasiru equally commended other lawmakers from the area for being good Ambassadors of Okun land and enjoined them to sustain their support to the administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello in moving the state and Okun land to enviable heights.

He congratulated the Clerk of the Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Amoka and prayed God to grant him and the Chairman of Kogi State House of Assembly Service Commission, Alhaji Andas Abdulmalik the wisdom pilot the affairs of the State House of Assembly and House of Assembly service Commission respectively.

In her good will message,the Matron of House of Assembly Clinic who doubles as the Forum Welfare Officer 1of the Forum said that one of the aim of the Forum was to foster unity,oneness, love growth and development of Okun staff in the Assembly and to ensure good relationship with other ethnic groups working in the State House of Assembly and with their counterparts in the state.

She enjoined members of the Forum to be more committed and dedicated to their duties pointing out that Okun land is known with diligence to duty and law abiding and harped on the need to imbibe these qualities the area is associated with.
