The Chief of Staff to Member representing Lokoja 2 Constituency, Hon. Idris Ndako, Hon Alhassan Yakubu has warned the Oworo Development Association (ODA) not to drag Hon. Idris Ndako member representing Lokoja 2 Constituency, into the crisis rocking the Olu of Oworo Mohammed Baiyerohi’s throne
Yakubu issued the warning while reacting to a statement by the Oworo Development Association(ODA) who accused the lawmaker of working against the wish of the Olu of Oworo, Oba
Mohammed Baiyerohi and Oworokingdom
According to him, what Hon. Ndako did as representative of his people was to submit a petition before the House of Assembly according to the law.
“As a lawmaker I’ve nothing personal against the Olu of Oworo, what a did was to table before the House a petition written by some ruling houses,it’ll have been a disservice to the people that voted for me if I hesitate to delivered their massage
“It is very unfortunate that we preach for peace in oworoland but many of us don’t truly meant it from our heart.
“The letter written by Oworo Development Association (ODA) today to Grace FM Radio show clearly that they were not out for peace in Oworoland.
“If ODA could go on air to accused Hon Idris Ndako for carrying out his legislative duties in the state House of Assembly, over a petition given to him to present in the house by IWOMASSI ruling house, it show that the (ODA) have personal hatred for Hon Idris Ndako, because the last time i checked it was IWOMASSI ruling house that filed the petition, why now addressing the letter to Hon Idris Ndako directly.
“To my greatest surprise some people were busy posting it on social media celebrating ODA that they have done Good work.
I condemn the so call letter in totality because it lacks merit” Alhassan said
