Nasarawa state government says it is spending Over three billion Naira for the construction of twenty five kilometer feeder road from mararraba Udege to Odu in Nasarawa local government area of the state to boost the socio economic activities of the state
Governor Abdullahi Sule of the state disclose this during the Inauguration of the road project in mararraba Udege.
Explaining the viability of the road projects to socio economic well-being of the state, Governor Abdullahi Sule said it is inline with the government policy of creating interconnectivity with the rural communities for the economic empowerment of people of the state as well as to fulfilling his promises to the people of the state during electioneering.
Governor Sule noted that the area is endowed with alot of mineral reserve and vast potentials for Agricultural development sa well as tourism potentials, and the project would no doubt provide an enabling environment to harnessing the endowment.
On his part, Senator representing Nasarawa west constituency Abdullahi Adamu commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for fulfilling some of his electoral promises to the people of the state.
Earlier, the representative of the construction firm promised to deliver quality job within the time frame and solicited the support of residents of the area to enable them discharge their duties.
Correspondent Dahiru Hassan report that the twenty five kilometer mararraba Udege Odu feeder road is expected to be completed within the period of twelve months.
