Prof. Emaimo Hails President Tinubu for Leading Charge in Upgrading Institution to University Status

The Rector of Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy Enugu, Prof. John Emaimo, expressed his gratitude towards President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for converting the college into a full-fledged university. Prof. Emaimo shared that the struggle to achieve university status for the college has been ongoing for quite some time. Despite facing numerous challenges and having to change names multiple times, President Tinubu remained steadfast in his commitment to the cause.

“As a product of the boyscout, I am always prepared for anything that comes my way, and my team is equally prepared,” stated Prof. Emaimo. He went on to acknowledge the contributions of the Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, Dr. Tunji Alausa, in the realization of this monumental achievement.

The rector emphasized the importance of President Tinubu’s leadership in making the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences a reality. He commended the President for his impartiality and dedication to improving the educational landscape in the country.

Prof. Emaimo also reassured students and staff that the transition to university status would be smooth and that the management would ensure all necessary support during this process.
