In life, there are those who are born with great destiny, achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them. The Ohi of Eganyi and Chairman, Ajaokuta local government Traditional Council, could be described as a man with great destiny who went through the ladder of life to achieve greatness. The story of his life is saturated with many first, golden steps across the realms of life, although with many challenges.
The story of HRH Musa Achuja, before his divined appointment and coronation as Ohi of Eganyi in 2016, is a riveting tail of a man who defied the unbearable circumstance of life as it were. A courageous man that always keep faith with God and put hope alive; he continues to struggle, hurstling until when success eventually smile on him as Ohi. Indeed, this goes to validate Johnson assertion that; “men are limited not by the place of circumstance of the colour of their skin but by the size of their dream and the content of their character”. This simply implies to Ohi’s zeal of continuous struggle, eventually to his present status.
His Royal Highness, Musa Achuja, who believe in the Quranic Injunction, which stipulates that “Nothing is given unto man except he receives it from Heaven”. This concept has conditioned and conscious of the wonderful hands of Almighty Allah in his life as well as his shortcomings as a human-being and this has also accounted for the manner he easily forgives and forget any wrongs done to him.
Ohi’s devotion to the service of his subject, his people, are living testimony of his patriotism and exceptional leadership qualities above other traditional leaders in the area. He is a Philanthropist Personified.
To put his versatility in context, in the traditional institution in Ajaokuta local government area and Ebiraland in general, even with his high-flying life roots, Musa Achuja, has been described as a giant, even among his Legendary contemporaries in the Ohi Traditional institution stools.
Since I have been following the antecedent of this young man, it is the destiny of Ohi to always face battles which he would eventually overcome them and won.
Truly, he is a rare traditional leader that could be amissed in the traditional institution of Ajaokuta local government and Ebiraland in general, but we pray that he would remain on the stool with good, sound health and long life. To say he is irreplaceable, is an understatement, based on his dynamic examplary leadership he has demonstrated so far, ensured cooperate co-existence in Ajaokuta local government and the environ. This is the stuff he recently demonstrated as the Chairman of the constituted Committee on the screening of all the applicants, vying for the seat of Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, which he discharged the responsibility, efficiently and diligently, without sentiment or bias, that brought in the new installed Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, without rancour. What a great achievement to his feather!
Even from his early age, this young man, showed sign that he was out as promising leader; always distinguished himself as a listening leader and prodigious manager of men and resources.
Obviously, in keeping a date with birth destiny, is the ultimate goal of every human-being; once one is born, one have the opportunity and privilege to mark and celebrate his or her birthday, hence the celebration of Ohi additional one year to his birth today, 12th March, 2024.
We rejoice with you, Your Royal Highness, pray that the dreams of your heart, prayers of your lips and the expectations of your mind comes to reality, Ameen.
