The Commissioner for Information and Communications,Hon Kingsley Fanwo has described the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Mr Teddy Adegbola as a diligent and exemplary civil servant.
Hon Fanwo made this commendation in Ogori during the Funeral Service of Mr Teddy’s father-in-law Late Pa Obatomi Samuel Ajebiewe.
Speaking further,Hon Fanwo condoled the bereaved family on the demise of their father calling on everybody to live exemplary lives as death is inevitable.
During the Funeral Service in The Anglican Cathedral of St.Peter Ogori Diocese of Ogori-Magongo, Rev.Akande preached that Late Pa Ajebiewe was a devoted Christian,baptised and confirmed in The Anglican Church and a member of the Morning Star Band who attended church servives regularly and actively participated in all church programmes when he was physically strong.
He described Baba as a man of great faith in God during his lifetime as he used to read the Bible and pray always addiing that these attributes made him survive many challenges and live up to the time he was called to glory extolling him as a hardworking tailor,farmer and security officer,who committed his income to catering for his children,forster children and some of his siblings.
In a chat with The Director of Information Services Adeniyi Sunday,Mr Adegbola described his late father-in-law as a loving and caring gentleman who was always happy, cheerful and full of smiles and laughter.
He continued that Baba used to dress in lady’s attire with weaveon to visit celabrants during the Ovia Osese and Easter Celebrations adding that he was too generous to be mentioned as well as a hilarious jokes master at his leisure time,deeply saddened that he would miss Baba’s ingenuity in conflict resolution urging children to fulfill their responsibilities to their parents by caring for them so as to receive the blessings of God and their parents.
He described his wife who is one of the chief calebrants,Mrs Adegbola Oreka, as a precious,lovely and rare gem who has devoted her time to caring for her family,appreciating her diligence and sagacity which, he said,are admirable traits she inherited from her parents.
In attendance were The DG Radio Kogi Mr Oyila Ozovehe,The Graphic Chief Editor Mr James Oyewole,Directors and Staff of the Ministry,politicians,the Clergy,traditional rulers and people from all walks of life.
