Kwara Gov lauded over Ministry’s relocation

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been lauded for approving the relocation of the Ministry of Solid Minerals Development to a better and more conducive working environment along Fate Road.

The commissioner for Solid Minerals Development, Chief (Mrs) Abosede Olaitan Buraimoh, gave the commendation at the Ministry’s new year meeting on Thursday, describing the gesture as
a testament to the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants in the State.
She, however, charged both the management and staff of the Ministry to be proactive, resourceful and contribute impactful innovations that would move the Ministry to greater heights in the new year and beyond.
The Commissioner also applauded the commitment and dedication to duty by the entire staff of the Ministry, saying “all the staff have demonstrated commitment, passion and hard work at ensuring the growth and development of this Ministry in recent times, which makes them an amazing team to work with”.
Chief Buraimoh therefore welcomed the staff to the new office and assured them of a conducive working environment that would propel enhanced productivity and impactful growth on the job, while stressing the need for a good maintenance culture of the new office.
She reiterated the need for punctuality to work and charged the management to monitor absenteeism among staffers. She implored the Management and Staff of the Ministry to sow seeds of dedication, hard work, and commitment, pointing out that the reward would yield fruits of happiness and successes in the new year and beyond.
The Commissioner also enjoined them to take their health issues and general well-being with utmost priority by engaging in routine health checks to avoid system breakdown. “Your families are a significant part of you, ensure you cultivate a robust relationship and companionship with them”, the Commissioner added.
The Director Geological Service, Mr Isiaka Ajeigbe, expressed appreciation to the Commissioner for her words of wisdom and promised to adhere strictly to her admonition for the new year.
The Director Personnel, Finance and Supply Mr Sanni Ismaila thanked Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for prioritizing the welfare of civil servants, particularly for relocating the Ministry to a beautiful and more conducive working space.
Mr ismaila also commended the Commissioner for her exemplary leadership style at ensuring harmonized synergy within the Directorates in the Ministry, Consultants and other stakeholders within the solid minerals development sector.
