The Caretaker Chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Rasheed Bashir Okatengwu inguarates Secretary to Local Government and Supervisory Councillors at the Council Hall today.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi, Hon. Barnabas Oyibo, DLG to the Local Government, Pioneer Chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Ozigi Maiyki, Campaign Expert, Adayi Osondo, immediate past councillors of the eleven (11) wards in Adavi and a host of others.
The oath of office was administered by the counsel to Adavi LG.
Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Adavi, Hon. Barnabas cautioned the appointed officers and sounded a firm warning against Anti-Party activities. He further told them to go to their various wards and canvass for APC. “Your appointment today is because you’re members of the ruling party, you’re expected to touch lives from whatever you’re getting, in that way, you can win the hearts of the masses.”
Stakeholders gave different speech full of guidelines,and wisdom thus cautioning the appointed officers to work in the best interest of the local government.
The pioneer chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Ozigi Maiyki gave a brief closing remark and prayers were offered to mark the end of the programme.
