I, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, Deputy Speaker and member representing Ibaji Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, on behalf of my family, political associates and Ibaji Constituency wish to use this medium to felicitate with His Excellencies Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the new Executive Governor of Kogi State and his deputy Mr. Joel Salifu Oyibo on their inauguration and swearing-in into office as governor and deputy governor respectively on this historical day 27th January, 2024.
Your Excellencies, you have walked the path of honesty and transparency in all your dealings. Your victory at the poll in the just concluded governorship election in the state is an affirmation of your acceptability and the confidence the people have reposed on you.
Your commitment to the well-being of our people is not in doubt and that was why they re-invested their hope in your leadership through the ballots, your first term in office holds significant prospect for the state in the next four years under your watch.
I pray for you as you step into your first tenure in office today, that God almighty will grant you wisdom, strength and sound health to move the state to an enviable height.
