Honourable Kingsley OlorunFemi Fanwo stated this yesterday shortly after his screening by the Kogi State house of Assembly as Commisioner Designate for information and communication in the state.
He said his reappointment is born out of a system that rewards loyalty hard work and put the actors on tasks for results oriented goals.
Hon Fanwo stated with delight that by the support of his immediate Constituency the media he is confident to deliver on the new task given to him by the new administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He further disclosed that the information ministry would undergo a whole gamut of reengineering the information architecture of the state he said that the former Governor Yahaya Bello during his administration faced a lot of battles in the media in terms of perception but he has cleared the road for easy flow for the new government of Ododo.
” It’s about informing the people at the right time using the right medium and passing the right message” .
He added that his ministry is endowed with sound team of intellectually and manpower to deliver maximally in the information architecture of the state.
The Information Commissioner disignate discredit the insinuations that the State government had created an office of the past Governor of the state.
He discribe the news as a funny news which should be discouraged saying ” only a class of people would believe such a flemsy story. ” Governor Yahaya Bello has handed over to someone he trust so much and the system he has built can operate effectively without him so there is no need to operate such an office.
Thought the former Governor would always be by the sidelines to offer his advice and experience to the new system to be able to deliver even better than him.
