Hon* Ademola Bello Destiny, member KSHA representing Mopamuro Constituency appreciates the Almighty God the giver of life for the privilege to see another New Yam Festival in Amuro land and Mopamuro in general.
In his statement through his media unit,the honourable expresses his joy for the good people of Amuro land for the peaceful atmosphere across the Constituency noting that without peace, community development will suffer retrogression. He further enjoins Mopamuro youths to key in to various agriculture projects/ programmes as sponsored and initiated by both the Federal and Kogi State Government under the able leadership of *His Excellency Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello* which of course could make the youths to be independent and self reliance.
In a related development, *Hon Bello* uses the opportunity to commend the initiative of the wives of Mopamuro State elected and appointees in persons of
*Mrs Bamitale Bello,* *Mrs Roseline Fanwo* *and Mrs Grace* *Moses* to sponsor a program initiated by Miss Amuro captioned;
*”SAY NO TO RAPE,TEENAGE PREGNANCY,GIRL CHILD EDUCATION AND DRUG ABUSE”.*
The program is aimed at sensitising the youth in this New Yam Celebration to be more responsible with their lives instead of involving themselves in social vices.
He wishes the entire Mopamuro Constituency many more celebrations to come.
