Hon Aro Congratulates Prof. Akinwumi for His well deserve Appointment as the New VC, Lokoja Varsity
A member representing Yagba West State Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Hon Aderonke Aro has congratulated Professor Olayemi Akinwumi over his appointment as the third Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State.
The congratulation message was contained in a statement personally signed by the lawmaker in Lokoja on Saturday.
Hon. Aro who described the appointment as well deserve, stated that the university Don as an academician who has contributed immensely to the standard of the tertiary institutions he had served in various capacity.
He commended the members of the Governing Council of Federal University Lokoja for finding him worthy for the appointment, and assured that the new Vice Chancellor will use his experience to take the institution higher.
The lawmaker called on other staff of the institution to support him and cooperate with so that the new Vice Chancellor can apply his wealth of experience to address the challenges in the university.
While congratulating the entire Okun land and Kogi State at large for having Professor Akinwumi as the Vice Chancellor of the only federal university in the state, Hon. Ayo enjoined the people to support him with prayers so that the Professor can succeed in the task ahead of him .
