*Adavi LG Chairman Constitutes Land Committee.*
In a bid to reinforce the Land and Housing department in Adavi LG, so that the department can function effectively, the Executive Chairman of Adavi, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami has constituted a Seven-man Committee on Land Matters.
The land committee members are expected to join hands with the LG to ensure that land dispute and unauthorized occupants in LG land properties are retrieve, resolved, and also put an end to the irregularities particularly in the various public schools, cemetery, and some other places.
The Names of the Committee members are:
1. Hon. Sodiq Sunday ( Embazy) – Chairman
2. Com James Ajako – Secretary
3. Arch. Isah S. Momohjimoh
4. Comr. Yakubu Isah Beida.
5. Comr. Shaibu Onotu
6. Comr. Sunday Yusulf
7. Comr. Dauda Suleiman.
Their primary functions are to settle land disputes in Adavi LGA and also reclaim illegally occupied lands that belong to the Local Government.
They have received their appointment letters, inaugurated and charged to duty immediately by the Executive Chairman of Adavi LG.
Hon. Joseph Omuya urged them to live up to expectations and discharge their duty diligently for the best interest of the people of Adavi LGA.
