*THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF YAGBA WEST HON PIUS KOLAWOLE HOLDS SECURITY MEETING AT OKUNRAN*
The major priority of Hon Pius Kolawole as the Executive Chairman of Yagba West is securing the life and property of the people of Yagba West Local Government.
One of his strategy of actualizing secured environment for his people is by working with informations and due to the information gathered led to his emergency security meeting at Okunran after the security earlier held at Ejiba to meet with the Royal father and the Fulanis living around the area
The Executive Chairman of Yagba West in his speech stated that invading people farms, properties and attacking people will not be entertained .
The Chairman also stated that information at his disposal is that some Fulanis were brought in by one Alhaji Karini without informing anyone and his not going to welcome them to the community under his watch except if they can present a letter of approval from security agencies or they vacate Yagba West within the shortest period of 48hrs.
The Chairman also pronounce that he will not hesitate to send packing any Fulani or visitor that will disrupt the peace in the communities and also the leaders of the Fulanis will be held responsible for any insecurity that happens from Egbe to Isanlu Esa and the communities surrounding them.
The Chairman made it known to everyone that everyone has right to live and stay anywhere but when your stay becomes a threat to life and properties is one thing that will not be entertained under his watch in Yagba West Local Government.
During the speech of DPO he made it known that security of life’s and property of the people is very important and the security agencies are working closely with the Executive Chairman to ensure peaceful living in Yagba West.
The representative of the DSS also stated that anyone inviting or bringing in people to come and be living in the environment should ensure the Executive Chairman , Security agencies and Kabiesi of the community should be well informed about it and approval should be given before anyone comes in to the Local Government.
In the meeting the Kabiesi Aro of Okunran, Representatives of Fulani ,DPO, DSO, DSS, Commissioner Pension Commission Hon Solomon Adebayo(Akeweje of Eri), Hon Tunji Aro (Egwe) a Former Council Boss, The COS to the Executive Chairman Hon Tosin Rowland, Supervising Councilor Agriculture and Natural Resources Hon Kayode Abolaji, Supervising Councilor Health Hon Abiodun Sanya Ayara and the Councilor Representing Okunran/Okoloke/Isanlu-Esa Ward were all present.
