KOGI LOKOJA MEGA TERMINAL TO BEGIN OPERATION SOON.

The Kogi State Government is ready to officially relocate all small parks within the lokoja, the state capital to the Mega Terminal, Felele.
Provision has been made for all food vendors and traders along the Nataco-Abuja highway to also move to a designated site within the Mega terminal.
The government in her quest to make transporters, passengers, and traders who would be operating within the terminal comfortable, has provided a 33KVA Transformer for twenty-four hours electricity supply with a standard 500KVA generator set in case of an unforeseen situation that might warrant the switch-off of electricity by the AEDC.
Adequate seats at the departure hall with enough provision of eatery shops to meet passengers’ needs are provided.
The Mega terminal will partner with major transportation service providers to secure space for their businesses.
Commuters will also have the privilege to stop over and check-in while on transit.
According to the State Security Adviser, Jerry Omodara, he said Security Agencies will enforce the movement of over 500 vehicles and petty traders from small parks and Nataco roadsides into the mega terminal in the next few days.
Security Department, Fire Service Provider unit, Control Room, and Vehicle maintenance unit are already been provided.
It is the biggest Terminal in Nigeria and Africa.
In due time, the state will have the Uber system of transportation to take travelers from the terminal to anywhere in kogi state without stress.

Top government functionaries that went for the oversight inspection of the terminal before the official commissioning will be announced, are the Commissioner for Transportation, Barron Okoli, Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Gabriel Olofun, State Security Adviser, Jerry Omodara and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor On Electronic Media, Avoyi Nwogu.
Others are staff of the ministries of transportation, information, and Union Members.
