HON. CHIEF ALFA MOMOH RABIU IS MAKING WAVES IN FULFILLING ELECTORAL PROMISES.
Rt. Hon Momoh Rabiu is described as a “square peg in a square hole” in Ankpa II Constituency, when the team of Association of some Political Parties in collaboration with Nigeria National Volunteer Service sent a team of volunteers to Ankpa II where Hon. Rabiu represents for the second term running, we were amazed at his achievements. Surprisingly when he got the wind of what we were doing, he said we can take record to satisfy our curiosity but not to make a show of it in the media because he is fulfilling his electoral promises to the people.
Hon Momoh Rabiu is such uncommon member in the house of Assembly, apart from the physical projects we can take note of a number of testimonies of what he has accomplished especially in his magnanimity in helping the poorest of the poor in his constituency and beyond is unimaginable, for example about 570 indigents have benefited from payment of Jamb fees, NECO and other incentives provided to encourage them to further their education, several widows and pregnant women has also benefited from his health endowment programs in his constituency. We are proud to announce to the public that Rt. Hon. Momoh Rabiu has touched almost all the wards with his legacy projects from Enabo, Ofugo, Inye, Ajikata, Ojoke, Okaba, Inyologu, Ukwodoko to Ukpaba Electrification and other projects across these wards.
We make bold to say that in fulfilling his electoral promises the empowerment programmes he embarked upon is also legendary, examples are the distribution of 40 grinding machines, Two hundred sacks of grains crops distributed for small and medium enterprises. Thirty motorcycles distributed to the youths in his constituency, fifty pieces of six spring forms foams to correctional centers and orphanages homes.
In furtherance of our investigations, we stumbled into him and we were astonished about the number of motions and bills he has passed, among other bills is a call on Kogi State government to rename Kogi State University, Anyigba to Prince Abubakar Audu University. A call on Kogi State government to provide transformers and electricity cables to Ukpaba community of Ojoku district in Ankpa Local Government. A bill to attend to erosion menace bedeviling Okobo/Enjima as a result of heavy rain and coal extractions from the community. In fact, Hon. Rabiu moved lots of motions and bills sensitive to the development of his constituency and the State at large, which cannot be contained in a single write-up. It is on record from our investigation that no member of House of Assembly has performed exceptionally to be compared to the activities of Hon. Momoh Rabiu since the democratic governance. No wonder Ankpa II constituency foundly refer to him as “Mr. Project and the People’s representative indeed”. His humility, forthrightness, doggedness and dexterity has distinguished him amongst his equals.
His uncommon leadership acumen has attracted the team of volunteers and the Association of Political Parties to identify with him, therefore the organization under the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the office of State Secretary, the Nigeria Volunteer Service celebrates Hon. Momoh Rabiu and pass a vote of confidence on him for his uncommon performance in the House of Assembly representing Ankpa II constituency. This is to encourage and spur you to keep up the good work as the real representative of the people; posterity will remember you.
