The Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Aliyu Umar Yusuf has congregated the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his birthday.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Yabagi Mohammed made this known in a Press statement made available to journalists in Lokoja on Wednesday.
The Speaker prayed to Almighty Allah, in the statement, to grant the Governor long life, good health and prosperity in the many years ahead.
He also wished the Governor the continued soundness of mind to always give all parts of the state infrastructural and human capital development as he has been doing since assumption of office.
According to Rt Hon Umar, the Governor has demonstrated that he is a destiny’s child needed at this material time to turn around the fortune of Kogi State for the better, stressing his optimism that the state would only record positivity across all sectors under Governor Ododo.
The Speaker noted that members of the current House of Assembly in Kogi State are happy to be associated with the executive under the Governor, and said the symbiotic relationship would continue as they are also happy to share with Governor Ododo on the suspicious occasion of his birthday.
