The Egwola Ata Igala, Chief ALOLO ACHIMUGWU, his family members, friends and well wishers paid homage to Ata Igala, HRM Mathew Opaluwa Oguche-Akpa at Idah with a pledge to be loyal and dedicated to the unity and sustainable development of Igalaland. Chief Alolo Achimugu who was elated on the conferement of chieftsuncy title on him called on Igala sons and daughters both at home and in diaspora to join hands with the Ata Igala to maintain peaceful coexistence of all in the kingdom He described his contentment as a call to add values to purposeful leadership where loyalty, transparency, justice and exemplary will be his hallmark to a positive mark in the social landscape of Igalaland. Chief Egwola Ata used the visit to remind Igalas to be their brothers keeper in whatever positions they found themselves. He restated his commitment to be a role model in the scheme of things in Igala Kingdom as a dependable ally of Ata Igala. Chief Egwola Ata assured Ata Igala that he will use his influence to attract developmental projects to Igala Kingdom. In a remark, the Ata Igala, HRM Matthew Opaluwa Oguche-Akpa described the appointment of Chief Alolo Achimugu as a round peg in a round hole considering his antecedents as an accomplished Igala son that has impacted positively on both Igalas and non Igalas.
The paramount traditional ruler of Igala Kingdom used the occasion to advise Igalas to engage in legitimate meaningful ventures to earn a living. The Ata Igala told his subject that the gate to Ata palace remains open for positive constructive criticism and suggestions that could lead to develop the kingdom.
