I Hon. Ojo Aturu James write to express my heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beloved father, uncle and leader, Professor Olugbemiro Olusola Akerejola. It is with deep sorrow that I remember the profound impact he had, not only on my life but on the lives of many others.
Having had the privilege to serve as his Personal Assistant during his time as the Director-General of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), I witnessed firsthand his dedication, wisdom, and leadership. Professor Akerejola was a consummate leader, a visionary who championed vocational training and skill development, paving the way for countless individuals to achieve their potential.
As the Otaro-Uboro-Ajagajigi of Ogori, he was not only a leader in his professional capacity but also a custodian of our culture and traditions. His commitment to fostering a sense of community and cultural pride will be remembered and cherished.
