The Executive Chairman Ogori-Magongo LGA, Hon Rosemary Ohiezu mourn with deep sorrow the passing of an illustrious son of Ogoriland, His Royal Highness, Chief Uboro, Professor Olugbemiro Akerejola.
She extends her heartfelt condolences to his immediate family, the Ogori community and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In a show of empathy, Hon. Ohiezu express sadness of his lost as a great loss to Ogori-Magongo LGA, Kogi State and the Nation at large.
The Chairman stated that late Professor Olugbemiro Akerejola was a distinguished scholar, leader, and custodian of our heritage. His legacy of wisdom, service, and honour will continue to inspire us.
She prayed that may the gentle soul of our highly esteemed Royal Father, Prof. Olugbemiro Akerejola rest in peace. May we find solace in the fact that he lived a very fulfilled life worthy of emulation. And may God console his family members.
