Spread the love

Happy 65th Independence Day, Nigeria! On this momentous occasion, I, Hon Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem, Executive Secretary of the Kogi State Office for Disability Affairs, extend my warmest wishes to all Nigerians, particularly the disabled community. May this day be a celebration of our collective strength and resilience.

As we mark this milestone, I urge the government and private organizations to prioritize the needs of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). Let’s work together to ensure accessibility and inclusivity in all aspects of life. By doing so, we can unlock the full potential of PWDs and promote a more equitable society. I believe that with goodwill and determination, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of PWDs.

His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, has consistently demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of PWDs. I wish to express my deepest appreciation for his leadership and vision. On this Independence Day, I pray that his efforts will continue to yield positive outcomes for our community.

To all lovers of PWDs and advocates for inclusivity, I wish you a Happy Independence Day! Let us continue to spread goodwill and work towards creating a society that values and empowers every individual, regardless of their abilities. Together, we can build a brighter future for all Nigerians, especially PWDs. Happy Independence Day, once again!

Signed
Hon. Yakubu Nazir Abdulhakeem (Brain Not Legs)
Executive Secretary, Kogi State Office for Disability Affairs.
