Prof. Salisu Usman Ogbo Support Group For ODODO in Ogori Magongo LGA has lauded the inaugural lecture delivered by the Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic Lokoja, Prof Salisu Usman Ogbo.
In a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, the Public Relations officer of the Group, Mr. Anuwe Monday described the outcome of the inaugural lecture; CORRUPTION VERSUS CORRUPTION: UNPACKING THE WURU-WURU OF ANTI-CORRUPTION CRUSADE IN NIGERIA,
as one that has the propensity to check corruption in the Country.
The statement described the topic of the lecture by Prof Ogbo as apt, said it could not have come at a better time than now.
The Statement notes with emphasis that Corruption has become endemic in the nation’s life, described the recommendations put forward as the elixir the nation needs moving forward.
According to the statement: ” The turnout of dignitaries has once again proven that Prof. Ogbo is a man of the people”.
” The overflow has proven that your Inaugural Lecture will for a long time remain a subject of discourse”.
While it felicitate with Prof. Ogbo, the support group expressed optimism that the seeds he is sowing in the political and academic firmament of the State will in no distant time bear fruits”.
