*Leke Abejide Foundation Commences 8th Year Free WAEC Fees Payment Across All Private Schools in Yagba Federal Constituency.*
Rt. Hon Asiwaju Leke Abejide (MHR), through the Leke Abejide Foundation has marked a significant milestone in its commitment to education by sponsoring his 8th consecutive WAEC fees payment for students from Yagba Federal Constituency.
This initiative, aimed at promoting education and empowering the youth, has led the foundation to commence disbursement of payments for the 2025/2026 West African Examination Council.
The program has provided relief to countless students and parents, enabling them to pursue their academic dreams without financial burdens.

According to the Director General of Leke Abejide Foundation, Amb. Engr Ayobami Dada, education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire. Education is the best friend of every generation that wants to attain a brighter future and it serves as a movement from darkness to light.” He noted that Abejide’s initiative has been a beacon of hope for the young people across Yagba Federal Constituency and beyond.
He reaffirmed the commitment of Hon Abejide to promoting education, businesses, and empowering the youth, stating that Leke Abejide Foundation remains dedicated to providing opportunities for the younger generation to unlock potential to reduce the number of out-of-school children in our society as education is the basic right of every citizen.
A representative of the parents expressed gratitude, stating that Abejide’s efforts has always inspired new generation of leaders, this has contributed to the constituency’s growth as parents are always being relief of the payment years. The foundation in the last 8years has not failed the students and parents, as promised they have been consistent regarding the aims and objectives of the foundation especially the payment of Waec fees and administrative charges for students in Private Schools. This gesture has boost the confidence of parents in the representation of Hon. Leke as he brings legislation to the doorsteps of every constituent.
“The representative of the school proprietors in his address during the presentation appreciates the commitment of the foundation to education stating that “he who opens a school door, closes a prison,” whole commending Abejide’s contributions, we must say that “Hon Leke Abejide has opened the school entrance for generations to benefit, he said.
