As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr,, the Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC),
Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King has extended his warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitations to all Muslim faithful and the entire people of central senatorial district and indeed the entire Kogi state.
Hon. Idris King who is also the Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassador in charge of Kogi State, said Eid-el-Fitr reminds us of the virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, and unwavering devotion to the will of Almighty Allah.
According to him, Eid-el-Fitr is a season that calls for reflection, compassion, and renewed commitment to the values that bind us together as one people.
He urged Muslims to emulate the spirit of sacrifice demonstrated by Holy Prophets by showing love, kindness, and generosity to one another, especially the less privileged in the society.
“Let us also use this sacred occasion to pray for peace, unity, and continued progress in our land, Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
“As your former representative, I remain committed to working tirelessly for the development, welfare, and prosperity of our people. Together, we can build a stronger and more united constituency.
“May Allah accept our fasting, answer our prayers, and bless our homes with peace, joy, and abundance” he stated.
