Hon. Muktar Bajeh, the Assembly member representing the Okehi State Constituency who also doubles as the chief whip of the house, send his compliment and best wishes to the good people of Okehi and Kogi State on this season of Eid -El-Fitri.
He describe EID as the Combination of three(3) meaning ie:E- embrace with open heart, I-inspire with impressive attitude and D-distribute measure to all, so he refers to all on this joyous occasion of this year’s EID -El-Fitri celebration.
He appeal to all Okehians to rise against the odds, keep our prejudices aside and strengthen the bonds of friendship and unity to keep our district together.
He sincerely believe that our constituency can make rapid progress on all font if we reenact the exemplary virtues, typified by prophet (Abraham) Ibrahim, through his Sacrifice, Patience, Steadfastness, Generosity and Obedience to Allah’s command and constituted authority. We must learn to see ourselves as brothers and sisters from the same heritage, who must come to terms with the African proverb that”A Family tie is like a tree, it can bend but it cannot break”.
Finally, Hon.Muktar urged Okehians to explore the opportunity offered by the Sallah celebration to reappraise their Commitment to the unity and harmony of the constituency cum Kogi state with a view to reinforcing their efforts towards making it a united, virile and strong constituency to emerge as one of the greatest in the the state both the leaders and the led must be patriotic working together purposefully as a united entity to ensuring the attainment of greatness and used this season to commit the GYB2PYB Project into the hands of Almighty Allah for victory come 2023
