30 Years Anniversary; Hon Fatima Buba Kabir Salutes Maigari of Lokoja.

The Hon commissioner for Women Affairs and Sustainable Development has described Maigari of Lokoja Alh. (Dr) Muhammadu Kabiru Maikarfi ||| oon, fksp as a veritable partner in the art of governance and development considering the exemplary leadership qualities he has displayed since he was appointed as the Maigari of Lokoja and Chairman Lokoja Traditional Council of Chiefs 30 years ago.
The commendation was made by the Honorable Commissioner, Hajia Buba Kabir Fatima who felicitated with Alhaji (Dr) Muhammad Kabiru Maikarfi III, Maigari of Lokoja as he marked the 30th anniversary of his ascension to the throne of his forefathers today, 1st of May 2023.
In a statement by Abbas Yahaya, Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Commissioner, Hajia Fatima Buba Kabir described the 30th years reign of Alh. Muhammadu Kabiru Maikarfi lll as eventful, peaceful and progressive with a lot of achievements recorded.
She praised the Maigari for being a Father to all and for his uncommon display of philanthropy, forthrightness and wisdom while handling his royal responsibilities.
The Commissioner particularly commended ‘Mai Lakwaja’ for his show of compassion and consistency in supporting the women and less privileged children in the society to acquire education through his foresightedness and for using his royal influence to attract development not only to his immediate domain but to the entire state.
While describing the Maigari of Lokoja as a critical partner of government on governance and development as well as for being an inspiration for the younger generation, the Commissioner prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide the traditional ruler and grant him sound health, more wisdom and more successful reign.
