Emmanuel Aduku, the only physically Challenged candidate aspiring for the position of Ankpa 1 constituency has emerged winner of the party primary elections.
Adukwu, a native of Ejegbo in Ankpa LGA of Kogi State won with a total vote of 23, while Akus Lawal got 2 votes.
Announcing the results, the returning officer declared him winner and urged other candidates to accept their result in goodwill, noting that nobody was a winner or looser.
The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, who is also the present member of Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed has congratulated the winner of the election. He assures him of his cooperation and support to emerge victorious. He also urged him to widen his networks and begin massive moulding and mending of fences and relationships.
Honorable John Aduga, a Frontline and major contender of the seat, who stepped down for Adukwu Emmanuel, also congratulated the winner and hails his doggedness for participating in elections. He declared his total support to him and urged all his supporters and well wishers to work for Mr. Adukwu.
