The final burial rights of Pa Thomas Bello Alegbemi, (Chief Obahekun of Oweland) father of the Chief Press Secretary to the Honourable Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly and founder of Democracy Newsline Newspaper and Online blog, Femi Olugbemi will hold this weekend, Saturday 17, December in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
This was contained in a statement he signed on behalf of the family and made available to newsmen on Sunday in Lokoja.
According to the statement, the program will commence on the 16th December with Service of Songs at his residence, no 52 Ihopete Quarters, Aiyetoro – Egunbe, Kabba by 5pm.
The statement further confirmed that the funeral and thanksgiving service will hold on the 17th December, 2022 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Aiyetoro – Egunbe, Kabba, Kogi State by 10am, while entertainment of guest and reception ceremony will hold immediately after the church service at the United Primary School Field, Otu-Egunbe, Kabba.
