The Administrator of Okene Local Government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad this evening visited the innocent boy rescued by the officials of the Local Government from Agassa Junction at Okene Zonal Hospital. The Administrator who appreciated the show of commitment by the medical personnel of the hospital also thanked his Administrative team and security agencies who mobilised resources and rescued the victim to the hospital.
The medical officer on duty informed the Administrator that x-ray conducted on the boy indicate that one of his leg was fractured but treatment has since commenced and the boy is responding to treatment. According to them, the hospital medical team is working hard to heal the surface injury before he undergo POP as required.
The Council Administrator reiterated the Local Government’s commitment to take full responbility of his medical, security and general needs. The Council Administrator implore the hospital management to furnish his office with progress of the treatment on daily basis to enable him take further necessary actions.
He said, the Local Government has commence announcement on Local radio to help identify the parents of the boy because at the moment, the Council is yet to ascertain his name and address. He allays the fear of the general public on the health status of the boy as he is doing fine.
