Accreditation and voting for council election across polling units in ogori/magongo local government area commenced around eight o’clock in the morning.
Severity personnels were also on ground to ensure orderliness as voters queued up to cast their votes to candidates of their choice.
Speaking to newsman shortly after casting his vote at unit 2, ileteju ward in ogori, the APC, Chairmanship candidate, 
Hon Goke Oparison commended kogi state independent electoral commission for the modalities put on ground that has led to the smooth electoral process.
He also commend the electorates for their peaceful conducted so far and urged them to come out en mass to exercise their franchise.
Similarly the member representing ogori/magongo constituency, Moses Akande described the election as peaceful and wonderful.
He applauded kosiec for preparations made as it had resulted in a free, fair, credible and transparent electoral process.
