Ajaokuta distributes Educational and. Medical materials.

The Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta local government, Hon. Prince Mustapha Aliyu Aka’aba has distributed educational and medical materials to government colleges and improve education and health conditions of the people. Hon Mustapha Aka’aba who conducted the exercise at Adogo on Wednesday 29th June, 2022, commended the Governor of the state, His Excellency, Alh.Yahaya Adoza Bello for impacting positively on the life of the people of kogi state. The council chairman who was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the local government, Hon. Ovanebira A. Momoh, described the gesture of the state government as another milestone for all round development of the people of the area. He maintained that inspite challenges. Kogi state is still save heaven for good people and those willing to come and invest in the local government. The chairman reminded the students to put to maximum use the textbooks distributed and excel in their academic pursuit. Hon.Mustapha Aka’aba again charged the health officers to be professional in handling and treating lassa fever, malaria fever and typhoid fever patients with appropriate drugs. Speaking, the representative of the ministry for local government and chieftaincy Affairs, Mall. Yusuf Ismaila charged the students to put the textbooks to maximize use to make them excel in all external examinations at school certificate level He warned that the state government donated the textbooks free to schools and they are not for SALE On health and medicals, Mall. Yusuf Ismaila said the drugs donated were for the treatment of lassa fever, malaria fever and typhoid fever and they should be used for the purpose intended. He urged the people to keep their consumable and water from rats but to make personal hygiene and maintain clean and tidy environment for good healthy life. The state representative stated that the drugs should be distributed to all health centres in Ajaokuta LGA and to be given free to patients. In their remarks, the heads of departments, Education and Social services, Mall. Obeito S. Hassan and Primary Health care, Mall.Usman Anakobe Raji commended the state and local governments for according Education and Health care delivery core of the present administration. They assured the and government that the textbooks and drugs will be distributed to the benefit of all to improve academic studies and well being of the people.
