AJAOKUTA NIGERIA LEGION CHAIRMAN COMMENDS GOVERNMENT FOR EFFECTIVE SECURITY OF THE COUNTRY

The Chairman of Nigeria Legion of Ex-servicemen in Ajaokuta Local Government area, CPL Emmanuel Ogah Irikiti Military (Retired) has commended Government at all levels (Federal, State and Local) for effective security of the country. CPL Emmanuel Irikiti (Rtd) stated this in his address to mark year 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration at Council Secretariat, Adogo.
He praise the Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Prince Mustapha Aliyu Aka’aba for his Administration dynamism and transformation of many communities through dividend of democracy.
The Legion Chairman used the occasion to call for support to Local Government Nigeria Legion chapter to enable the Legion for the orphans and widows to the fallen heroes during the Nigeria Civil War.
He commended the Ex-Servicemen for their sacrifices to preserve the unity and oneness of Nigeria as indivisible country and prayed to God to reward them abundantly as villains and Fallen Heroes.
Speaking at the occasion, the Head of Department, Education and Social services in Ajaokuta LGA, Mallam Obeito Shaibu Hassan lauded the Federal Government of Nigeria for setting aside January 15th every year as Armed forces Remembrance Day to remember supreme sacrifices paid by Nigerian soldiers during the civil war and to pay tribute for their ingenuity and gallantry.
He called Legion Members to be more united as he promised to always identify with the Legion for the peace progress and success of its members.
