Senator Godswill Akpabio on Tuesday morning emerged as the senate President with a vote of 63 against his rival Senator Yari got 46 vote of 10th Senate.
Akpabio a former governor of Akwa Ibom defeated his arch rival , Senator Abdulaziz Yari also a former governor of Zamfara state.
The election which was free, fair and credible was conducted by the Clerk of the Senate Barrister Chinedu Akabueze
