Ankpa Elites Group Commends ASCO For Honouring Rep Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims
The award confered on the member representing Ankpa federal Constituency by ASCO, has been described as well deserved with the recent development in the area.
A statement issued by Abdullahi Usman on behalf of the Elites group from Ankpa, says the revitalization of the moribund ASCO and AKK project is a pointer to his achievements few years into the leadership at the lower house.
‘The Chairman House Committee on steel developement quality of contributions both at committee,plenary and oversight functions, had brought alot of positive developement to the steel City and steel advancement.’
He says effrots of the Federal Lawmaker to return the lost glory of the steel City will address the growing unemployment rates,create opportunities for both local and foreign investors as well as guarantee the return of the existing companies operating in the city,before the sudden closure.
Abdullahi urged the Federal Lawmaker not to only ensure their return back to business,but endeavour to create both business and employment opportunities to the people of Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
He praised the Lawmaker on his developmental efforts both in his Constituency,Kogi state and Nigeria at large,saying the award was long overdue.
The group appeal to the Federal Lawmaker to prevail over the Federal government to reconstruct,rehabilitate all roads leading to the steel City,as activities had picked up owing to the return to work of the expatriates.
He says the roads when repaired will also assist travellers and residents of the steel City,ease of movements,as the over four decades roads was abandoned for lack of attention and activities.
