Asuku Commissions Bakason Model Mosque, urges peaceful co-existence

The Chief of Staff to Governor Yahaya Bello,Pham Abdulkareem Asuku on Saturday admonished Muslims Ummah to live hermoniosly irrespective of religious belief and faith

Asuku said this at the commissioning of the newly renovated ultra modern Bakaso Mosque, Karaworo Lokoja.

He called on kogites to be tolerant of one another and live in peace, especially during this holy month of Ramadan.

Asuku urged religious leaders to enjoin their followers to be law abiding and shun vices.

“l implore all religious leaders to emphasise on obedience to all rules and regulations against the covid-19 pandemic.

“There is no true religion without obedience to constituted authorities,” he said

In his goodwill message, Chief Imam of Bakason Mosque, Alhaji Illiyasu Waziri urged Muslim faithful to emulate the good gestures of Adams Ahmed Bakaso,who he described as humble and hardworking.

Waziri advised Muslims to remain statefast by continued glofication to Almighty Allah in this month of Ramadan

Imam Waziri who saluted the courage and commitment of the initiator of the project, noted that his effort in bequeathing a modern place of worship to the Muslim community would not be in vain

In his remarks,Adams Ahmed Bakaso, a.k.a Quincy said that the commissioning of the newly renovated mosque was the actualization of the vision he had over decades ago; ” I want to appreciate Allah for given me the opportunity to renovate this mosque to the glory of God and for the benefit of Muslim Ummah in and outside Karaworo area,this was necessitated by the increasing number of muslim worshippers in the area”he said

Highlights of the commissioning was the congregatonal Zuhuri prayer led by Asuku and attended by Alhaji Ahmadu Bakason Matsi, Imam of Kutepa Jumuah mosque,Sheikh Malam Zakari and Tijjani Bin-Ebiya Shehu among others Muslim Ummah
