CHRISTMAS MESSAGE
Hon. Muktar Bajeh send it’s Christmas message. “Christmas season is a time when family, friends and loved ones gather to strengthen the ties that bind us, plan for the coming year, and reflect on the events of the past year, both joyous and sad, both achievements and difficulties.”
It is also an opportunity to take the time to demonstrate giving, the true spirit of the season. And in so doing, we embrace those who are less fortunate, contributing our time and resources so that they too, may feel blessed and encouraged to face the year ahead in a positive spirit.
As we celebrate with lovingly prepared meals and gifts, let us therefore also be mindful of the true reason for the season-the celebration of the birth of Christ and the gift that he brought to the world. And, for those who may not identify with this concept, may it still be a time of healing, sharing, celebration and preparation for the year to come.
Christians has enjoyed yet another eventful year and extend thanks to all those who have expressed good wishes and who have remembered us in prayer. I speak for us both as I take this opportunity to again wish everyone a safe and blessed Christmas.
