Kogi Deputy Speaker named Ambassador of Islam in Ankpa Federal Constituency
Deputy Speaker of Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has been named as an Ambassador of Islam in Ankpa federal constituency by Islamic propagation group Kogi State Chapter.
The Chairman council of Imams and Ulema Kogi State, Sheikh Salman Adam in his speech at the annual Islamic propagation summit held at Ankpa LGA made the announcement to honor him highlighting the progresses, support and achievement of Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed since assumption of office as member representing Ankpa 1 State Constituency and as the Deputy Speaker. Sheiqh Salman noted that he has done a lot for the Muslim community and immortalising him as the Ambassador of Islam in Ankpa Federal Constituency is the only way to encourage him to do more.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed in his remarks describes the honor as a great privilege and historical. He commend the effort of the council of Imams and Ulama’u for finding him worthy and see this as an wake up call to more for the Islamic Community in Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala LGA. He urged the council to continue preaching peace, unity and pray for our dear state.
