COVID-19 IN OGUGU; THE FALSE ALARM!!!
The attention of the Honourable member representing Olamaboro state constituency Hon. Alewo Anthony Ujah has been drawn to a statement by one Mr. Rilwan Okpanachi that he contacted Covid-19 virus from Ogugu.
As much as we dislike to join issues with people constantly raising false alarm, we wish to inform the general public and particularly Ogugu people that the said Rilwan Okpanachi traveled from Abuja where the pandemic is prevaillent to Ogugu despite the lockdown order of the federal government.
As at this moment, Ogugu is Covid-19 free and we warn people to desist from raising false alarm on the pandemic in our society.
I therefore call on everyone to go about their normal business while observing strictly the NCDC protocol on the prevention of Covid-19.
While thanking everyone that has shown concern, it is my ernest prayers that we get over the pandemic in no distant time.
I assure you that I am aware of the hardship that befall our people because of the ravaging Covid-19 pandemic.
We shall overcome together!
