A Chairmanship aspirant in Ogori/Magongo Local Government Area of the same, Abiodun Aiyedun has called on the people of the local government to adhere strictly to the safety guidelines rolled out by the government to curtail the spread of the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.
According to the All Progressives Congress Chairmanship hopeful, the safety guidelines which includes regular washing of hands in a running water, use of sanitizers after every contact with objects , social distancing and the stay at home order among other preventive measures put in place by the dynamic and visionary adminstration of Governor Yahaya Bello to shield all of us from the ravaging pandemic.
Aiyedun reiterated that the pro active steps taken by Governor Bello even when the pandemic is not yet confirmed in the state, brings to the fore the exemplary leadership acumen and visionary endowments of the state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello which in the last years have propelled KOGI to greater heights in the country.
The pro active response to the threats of COVID-19 by setting up a Committee headed by the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward Onoja must be applauded by KOGITES.
While commending the people of the LGA for how far they have adhered to this directives, Aiyedun further enjoined them to comply strictly to all the safety guidelines rolled out by the State Government for everyone’s safety and benefit.
