Eid-el Maolud Nabiy To Muslim Ummah.
I wish to congratulate Muslim community all over the world on the occasion of maolud Nabiy anniversary which translates to the birthday of Holy Prophet Mohammed in accordance with Islamic calendar.
This year celebration is coming at a very trying time of our nationhood. I therefore urge all Muslim faithful to seize the opportunity presented by the occasion to pray for peace to return to our fatherland. There cannot be any meaningful development in an atmosphere of chaos, violence and political crisis. We need peace for job to be created, both local and foreign investors would be encouraged and economy will improve for overall development of our country.
Consequently, I wish to join millions of muslim ummah to seek government special intervention in those critical areas of citizens needs which we believe are responsible for the current state of our nation. His Excellency Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in his proactive style has done us proud in ensuring security of lives and properties while creating enabling evironment for business to thrive. This is why we must continue to appeal to our youth to embrace peace and always channel their demands through a civil medium which is dialogue. From the recent appointments of young and capable hands into various offices as Special Adviser and Senior Special Assistants on Youth and Students Affairs, His Excellency had once again given a strong voice to the youths and I hope they will justify the confidence repose on them. As responsible leaders we shall continue to deffend the interest of electorates and as well offer other service which our offices demand and for which we were elected without fear or favour.
Let me also reassure the people of Yagba East State Constituency that the issue of Ijowa Isanlu-Ejuku-Jege-Ponyan-IfeOlukotun-Igbagun road and the erosion challenges in Isanlu metropolis and its environs which has taken a divastating dimention would be addressed in the next fiscal budget that would be presented by His Excellency in couple of weeks. We have always lobbied our colleagues in the House and seeked the cooperation of our sons and daughters at the executive arm of government to give the necessary push toward the completion of the road and control of the erosion in the affected areas. This had been our daily request before His Excellency and he had assure us of it completion having plied the road himself and seen by himself the impact of the erosion in our constituency late last year.
Once again onbehalf of my family and the good people of Yagba East State Constituency I hereby felicitate with Muslim community all over.
