Kwara-born Veteran Fuji Music maestro, Alhaji Rasaki Kolawole Ilori, popularly known as Kollington Ayinla, has appealed to Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on the need for the rehabilitation of the road from Idofian to Ilota, his country home, in Ilorin South local government area of the State.

Kollington, made the appeal through a statement, personally signed by him, and made available to journalists in Ilorin.

While applauding the various laudable achievements of Governor AbdulRazaq in his first term, he sued for consideration of the Idofian-Ilota road, noting that the rehabilitation of the road would ease the movement of both goods and services of his people in Ilota.

He said the deplorable state of the road had made commercial motorists to abandon the route which has resulted in quantum loss of economic gains for both the community and the State at large.

The foremost Artiste noted that Ilota, being an agrarian community, would be delighted to have the road rehabilitated so as to allow smooth transportation of agricultural produce to one of the major markets in the State, the Idofian weekly market in Ifelodun local government area of the State.

While promising that his community would continue to support the present administration of Governor AbdulRazaq, Kollington prayed for God’s unwavering protection over Governor AbdulRazaq, the recently elected Chairman of Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF).
