Group launches eco-friendly city to fight climate change, reduce emissions

A group, Land Republic has said that it launched an Eco-friendly Smart City in in Nigeria to fight climate change and reduce emmissions.

According to a statement signed by Azeez Abubakar, Sustainability Project Manager of the organisation, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday, the launch of the eco-friendly city was part of activities commemorating the group’s one year anniversary tagged, ‘Lé Debut: Celebrating Greatness’.

Dr Victor Adegbile the Co-founder of the organisation, said the event was to celebrate doggedness and dilligence that had gone into building a leading real estate brand in Nigeria and in Africa at large.

Adegbile who gave the organisation website as http://www.landrepublic.co said that the initiative is aimed at sustaining and advocacy towards climate action.

“I am grateful to all members of Land Republic for contributing to this phenomenal success. For us, this is just the beginning, and we would not rest until we get Millenials to own their properties while they are young and enjoy themselves while doing it.
